The Baraamda


Glass perfume holder of cranberry color in the shape of egg on a brass three legged stand, probably from the period of Louis XVI of France. The egg is in two halves, joined by a single hinge on the backside. Inside are eight circular brass holders. The bas-relief latch in front is in the shape of a woman head wearing feather head gear. The exterior surface has hand painted floral motif and the legs have relief arabesque floral motif in golden color.
