The Baraamda


Pair of identical bamboo chairs, with circular seats; back of vertical bamboo rods and three horizontal rods; the lower two being continuous curved pieces that also form the arms. Stiles curve to form the rear legs and feet. Ends of the arms held up by carver supports that continue to form the front legs & feet. Circular seat, with the center upholstered in embossed and painted leather. Seat rests on cross supports and also held up by additional curved supports. Turned cross stretchers between the legs.
